Haley McIntyre

Education | ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥

Field of Study | Natural Resources Management

Focus of Study with ACEP | Global Applications Program (GAP) – As a part of her work with GAP, Haley participated in the Idaho National Lab’s Center for Space Nuclear Research summer fellowship program as a part of a joint effort with ACEP to understand the opportunities and barriers for the use of small modular nuclear reactors in ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥.  For the upcoming school year, she will be researching ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥â€™s policy and bonding standards for the decommissioning of oil and gas platforms on state lands in order to learn about possible state liability.

Post-Graduation Aspirations | Following her graduation in May 2015, Haley plans to remain a resident of ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥. Although still deciding between pursuing a career with a state agency or a private company, she wants to stay engaged with ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥â€™s energy issues by working on permits for energy projects or contributing as a policy analyst.
