Gene Therriault, Deputy Director of Energy Policy discussed ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Energy Authority’s (AEA)-led projects that will have direct impact on stable and affordable energy for the Interior. Projects such as the Interior Energy Project (bringing natural gas to the Fairbanks and North Pole areas), Susitna-Watana Hydro, and the necessary upgrades to the ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Intertie will be part of the discussion. Gene highlighted AEA’s most recent work and the impacts ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ns can expect to see in the coming years.
