Media Day at the Tanana River Test Site

Last Friday the Tanana River Test Site (TRTS) played host to a visit by journalist Chris Mooney from the Washington Post.  Chris is in ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ doing research on the larger than normal fire season that ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ residents have been experiencing this summer and how it relates to the subject of global warming.

Later in the day, well known UAF photographer Todd Paris paid AHERC a visit as well.  He traveled to Nenana to be onsite during Oceana’s testing of their unique in-river turbine design and to gather more photos of research being conducted by UAF researchers.
