ACEP Director, Postdoctoral Fellow Attends Walleye Seminar in Saskatchewan
ACEP Director, Gwen Holdmann, and Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr. Dominique Pride, will travel
to Saskatchewan, Canada the week of June 20th to attend the 4th annual Walleye Seminar
hosted by the University of Saskatchewan, School of Environment and Sustainability
and the University of the Arctic Thematic Network on Governance.
Seminar attendees will collaboratively develop a research plan to advance research
in renewable energy for Indigenous, Northern, and remote communities in the Circumpolar
North.
Holdmann and Pride will participate in a panel discussion alongside delegates from Canada, Sweden, and Norway about how these countries are meeting the challenge of transitioning to renewable energy.
