Heat Meter Receives ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Seed Fund Honorable Mention

Coupi, a local consulting company, and ACEP’s heat flow meter received honorable mentions in the 2017 ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Seed Fund Competition. This competition provides grants to help inventors, creators, and developers fund their prototypes in ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥.

ACEP’s heat flow meter aims to collect reliable home heating data through a non-intrusive device attached to Toyo Stoves. Coupi, a Fairbanks consulting and R&D company led by ACEP affiliates Jerry Johnson and Anton Kulchitsky develops applications, performs simulations, and provides software to solve complex field-based engineering problems. The ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Seed Grant offers one prize annually of up to $20,000, and up to ten prizes ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. Eligible applicants must be ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ residents or businesses. Find out more about the Seed Grant at
