REAP is a nonprofit coalition of over 80 diverse energy stakeholder organizations. It has worked to increase renewable energy production and promote energy efficiency across ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ since 2004. REAP’s work has been instrumental in establishing clean energy policy and programs in ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥, including the creation of the state’s Renewable Energy Grant Fund in 2008 and Emerging Energy Technology Fund in 2010, and passage of ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥â€™s Property Assessed Clean Energy Act in 2017.
During this webinar, Chris will share lesson from these endeavors, inspirations from initiatives in other regions and the possible future direction of ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥â€™s own energy journey. Policy can enable or inhibit communities in their pursuit of a more sustainable energy future.
