Micronuclear Energy Draws Interest at AFN

Micronuclear energy is a emerging topic in �ֻ�ֱ��, and interest in the potential for �ֻ�ֱ�� and in the technologies is growing. Earlier this month, ACEP research assistant professor, Dominique Pride, moderated a short panel discussion on micronuclear reactors at the 2022 �ֻ�ֱ�� Federation of Natives Convention in Anchorage.

The panelists included the Director of UAA’s Institute of Social and Economic Research and ACEP-affiliated researcher Diane Hirshberg, Mary Ann Pease with Westinghouse eVinci �ֻ�ֱ�� Business Development, and Vladimir Novak, chief commercial officer at Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation. The panel covered the technology, environmental concerns, and potential risks and benefits associated with micronuclear reactors.
