The Chancellor's Advisory Committee for Native Education is seeking activities to
add to a calendar of UAF and community events honoring Native American Heritage Month.
UAF eMakerspace is a new online space to learn about tools for making creative visuals
for teaching, research and more. Every month will feature a 10-minute challenge that
encourages play.

Charles Deehr will never forget his first red aurora. On Feb. 11, 1958, Deehr was
a student at Reed College in Portland, Ore. He asked a Fulbright student from Norway
named Tone to the Portland Symphony that night.
