Magma beneath long-dormant Mount Edgecumbe volcano in Southeast ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ has been moving
upward through Earth’s crust, according to research the ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Volcano Observatory
rapidly produced using a new method. The new approach at the observatory could lead to earlier detection of volcanic unrest
in ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥.
Ski Land will be at Outdoor Adventures in the SRC printing season passes for all student
taking 6 credits or more. Students can visit Outdoor Adventures on Wednesday, Oct.
26 or Thursday, Nov. 3 from noon to 5 p.m. to get their pass.
ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ researchers have been selected to develop a suicide-prevention
program that will focus on ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥-based Army soldiers. Researchers will work to understand and emphasize protective factors in a military
context.
