2022 URSA spring project recipients

Tara Dowd-Ramos, one of the 2022 URSA Spring Project award recipients, will develop an Iñupiaq “Jeopardy!†game, giving teachers an activity to do with Iñupiaq language learners in a fun, creative way for both online and in person instruction.

Sixteen undergraduate students have received project awards for the spring 2022 semester from the Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity office. 

Activities range across a variety of topics, including investigating solar energy potential in Haines, ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥; developing an Iñupiaq “Jeopardy!â€; studying the impacts of probation and parole on rural ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ns; developing a microfluidic syringe pump; and comparing sex education between the U.S. and Germany.
