The UA Arctic Leadership Initiative is now accepting applications for the 2025-26 ALI Student Cohort, a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to engage in Arctic policy, research, and leadership development.

What You’ll Gain:

• Participation in the Arctic Leadership and Praxis (PS 493/PS 693) with expert speakers and discussions.
• Fully funded travel to fall (Fairbanks) and spring (Anchorage) program retreats, as well as Arctic Encounter Symposium (April 1-4, 2025, in Anchorage) to connect with Arctic leaders from around the world.
• Mentorship and networking with postdoctoral fellows and early career faculty in Arctic-related fields.
• Leadership training and hands-on experience in Arctic policy and research.
