ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Nanooks fans are invited to a pep rally on Friday, Feb. 28, to get ready to cheer on the men's hockey team to an 11th straight victory in the ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Airlines Governor's Cup series against home-state rivals the University of ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Anchorage Seawolves. The UAF ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Association is partnering with Denali State Bank to celebrate UAF's ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Nanooks athletics programs.

The event takes place from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Denali State Bank branch located at 1989 Airport Way. There will be live music and a taco bar provided by Miguel's Authentic Mexican Cuisine. Participants can meet ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Nanooks student athletes, UAF hockey alumni and members of the ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Nanooks Face-Off Club, which supports the hockey team in a variety of ways. (UAF hockey players will be in pre-game mode and unable to attend this event.)
