Fresh oysters are harvested from the waters off Kodiak Island. ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Sea Grant seeks presentations for the 2024 ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Mariculture Conference.

ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Sea Grant is seeking presentations from farmers, processors, researchers, community leaders and other professionals for the to be held Feb. 26-29 in Anchorage.

Suggested topics include sustainability, innovative technology, climate change impacts and community engagement. A full list of topic suggestions can be found on the

Presenters have the option of giving a 15-minute oral presentation with visuals, a 5-minute lightning talk with or without visuals, or a poster presentation

Presentation proposals must be submitted online no later than Dec. 1, 2023. 

Proposals will be evaluated based on relevance to the conference themes, including research, innovative practices, education and industry growth.
