Career Pathways Internships: Summer 2025 positions available

The Career Pathways Internship Program, a collaboration between the ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, and the UAF College of Engineering and Mines, is accepting applications for Summer 2025.

This program is designed to provide post-first-year students with hands-on experience in engineering and beyond, offering exposure to a variety of real-world projects and career paths within the DOT&PF.

Program Highlights:

  • Work with planners, engineers, and communications specialists.
  • Participate in a rotational system across DOT&PF departments.
  • Visit civil infrastructure projects and learn how local knowledge informs solutions.
  • Build a professional cohort through career-building activities and events.
  • Develop practical skills, solve realistic problems, and connect with industry professionals.
  • Earn $19/hour+ and credits toward your degree (applies to certain majors).

Additional Details:

  • Students are required to enroll in CE470 (1 credit) during the Spring 2025 semester, with the course cost covered by the CPI program.
