The ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Community and Technical College will celebrate the first group of students to complete the Licensed Practical Nurse program during a pinning ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place at CTC's downtown campus at 604 Barnette Street.

The ceremony marks the culmination of an intensive academic journey that began in August 2023. Graduates completed a rigorous curriculum, including 320 hours of clinical rotations, and will now prepare to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses before  joining ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥â€™s healthcare workforce.

CTC’s LPN program is provisionally approved by the ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ State Board of Nursing and is a candidate for initial accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.

The ceremony is open to the public. A reception will follow with light refreshments.
