Personal mail restrictions
Jan. 11, 202
The Campus Mail Center reminds everyone that using your ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ department address for delivery of your personal mail is prohibited.
- This practice is a violation of UA Board of Regents regulation .
- With decreasing departmental resources, this is a burden that the Campus Mail Center cannot handle.
- The department is responsible for all of the individual’s incoming personal mail, even after they are no longer employed by UAF
All non-university business mail (including Stitch Fix, Ulta, utility bills, bank
statements, insurance policies, catalogs and magazines, and any other personal mail)
must be directed to your home address or personal campus mail box.
Items that appear to be personal mail will be held at the Campus Mail Center for pick-up
for three days. These and future items will then be returned to the sender.
If you wish to receive personal mail on campus, the campus mail center has mail boxes available to rent.
Please visit the campus mail center website for more information, or contact uaf-campusmailcenter@alaska.edu or 907-474-7215.
