Have you chosen your minor? The very interdisciplinary nature of the College of Liberal Arts means that you have so many options when it comes to tailoring your degree program so that it is just right for you. Here are some minors that students have paired with a B.A. in Film & Performing Arts:
Minor in Film or Performing Arts
The minor in film requires 18 credits including Introduction to the Study of Film, Lights, Camera, Audio! and Film Set Production I, as well as an additional 9 credits of department-approved FLPA electives.
The minor in theatre consists of 18 credits including Fundamentals of Acting, Dramatic Literature and History and Basic Stagecraft, plus another 8 credits of department-approved FLPA electives.
The integrated arts minor allows students to explore all three arts disciplines offered at UAF: art, film and performing arts, and music. After taking an introductory course in each department, students will then take electives in each discipline.
